The Noxis Plague
The Noxis Plague was a one man Game Design Document. I was tasked with designing a four player co-op survival game for consoles. As with many of my projects, this one happened to be assigned to me while I was in one of 40k book binges and I went to work using what was fresh in my mind. I also wanted to see if I could come up with a more team work based system than games like Left 4 Dead and Borderlands. The main gimmick I wanted for this game however, was that when a player died, instead of just respawning, their previous body rises from the dead with their equipment still on them and they would have to hunt themselves down to get it back.
